Syngonanthus sp. Madeira is a unique and rare plant originating from South America. Much like the closely related Syngonanthus sp. Belem, this plant is characterised by its umbrella like crown. Syngonanthus sp. Madeira is however short and stocky in comparison. Its slender leaves also point outwards rather than curl downwards. This plant can grow at a rapid pace in optimal conditions. Due to its growth characteristics, Syngonanthus sp. Madeira has huge potential as a carpet plant as it can quickly cover the substrate.
