Pogostemon cf. pumilus

Pogostemon cf. pumilus is a yet to formally identified speices hence the ‘cf’ in the name. It most likely comes from the Asian tropics. The stems are strikingly thick and its leaves are slightly wavy and have serrated edges similar to Limnophila ‘Wavy’.  The coloration of this stem plant is fresh bright green and can exhibit a slight yellow tinge on the tips. Pogostemn cf. pumilus does well in small to medium sized aquariums due to its compact and moderate paced growth. Regular trimming will promote bushier growth.
